Established in 1955 by American missionaries Harold and Faye Curtis, the church began its journey in Yaba, Lagos, before spreading nationwide. This core doctrine represents Jesus Christ as the Savior, the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, the Healer, and the Soon-Coming King. Administratively, the church is structured under a democratic-theocratic governance system. It is led by a National General Overseer who serves a designated term to guide its spiritual and structural vision.
